Located at 20 Jefferson Avenue in West Hartford, Connecticut, we have a staff of diversified instructors and offer martial arts instruction in Kung-Fu, Karate, Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Aikido, Jujutsu, Freestyle Kickboxing, Judo, Boxing, Mixed Martial Arts/MMA, Capoeira, Kali/Silat, Kettlebell Training, and soft style arts… all under one roof!
We are open six days throughout the week. We have two training areas, a boxing ring, a shower for students, a full complement of training equipment, a weight room, a wi-fi lounge, and 12 staff members; we are arguably the most fully functional martial arts school in the state of Connecticut, and we are ready to help you reach your training goals in a variety of styles!

When it comes to training, strength is often shown primarily with having the courage to begin. Whether you are five years old or seventy-five, your journey at Plus One will provide you with many great benefits.
For kids, our programs are focused on building character, improving attention span, focus, physical fitness, and self-control, while providing personal safety techniques. We do this through a myriad of martial arts systems and provide a great deal of opportunities for young people to train in various styles.
For adults, we continue our focus on bringing you all the benefits that the arts have to offer. These include personal empowerment, heightened self-confidence, stress relief, physical conditioning, and personal safety instruction. We have a fantastically supportive atmosphere, and we offer an incredible variety of classes in multiple disciplines. Located in West Hartford, we strive to be the best martial arts school in Connecticut. Whether you are looking for classical martial arts, contemporary systems, or mixed martial arts in Connecticut, we can help you reach your goals.
